Future Simple

ΣΧΗΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΣ: WILL + BARE INFINITIVE

AFFIRMATIVE: Ι/Ηe/They will play/do.

INTERROGATIVE: Will I/he/they play/do?

NEGATIVE: I/He/They will not/won't play/do.

ΧΡΗΣΕΙΣ:

1. Αποφάσεις που παίρνουμε αυθόρμητα, τη στιγμή που μιλάμε.

e.g. I'm hungry. I will make a toast.

2. Προσκλήσεις/Ανάγκες/υποχρεώσεις

e.g. Will you come with us to meet the president?

e.g. You will have to pay by credit card if you buy clothes over 50 euros.

3. Προσφορές

e.g. I will help you to make these cookies.

4. Προβλέψεις βασισμένες σε απόψεις (think, believe

e.g. He thinks that he will become an astronaut.

5.Υποσχέσεις

e.g. I promise I will never talk to dad about this!

6.Αιτήματα

e.g. The phone is ringing. Will you answer it please?

7.Προτάσεις με τα επιρρήματα: probably, certainly, perhaps

e.g. I will certainly go to the wedding.

e.g. He probably won’t finish writing my essay in time.

e.g. Perhaps we will need a new phone soon. This one is getting so slow.

8. Απειλές

e.g. If you don’t tell me the truth, I will not talk to you again.

Λέξεις κλειδιά:tomorrow, next week, next month/year, in the future, I think, I am sure

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Για κάτι που είμαστε σίγουροι ότι θα συμβεί καθώς βασιζόμαστε σε ενδείξεις-αποδείξεις χρησιμοποιούμε Present Continuous ή be going to.

e.g. Look at the clouds. It is going to rain.

Future Continuous

ΣΧΗΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΣ: WILL + ΒΕ + VERB- ING

AFFIRMATIVE: Ι/Ηe/They will be playing/doing.

INTERROGATIVE: Will I/he/they be playing/doing?

NEGATIVE: I/He/They will not/won't be playing/doing.

ΧΡΗΣΕΙΣ:

1. Για προγραμματισμένες πράξεις που θα βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη σε μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική στιγμή στο μέλλον.

e.g. This time week, I will be travelling to Paris.

2. Για να ρωτήσουμε κάποιον με ευγενικό τρόπο τα σχέδιά του. Ιδίως εάν θέλουμε να μας εξυπηρετήσει ή να μας βοηθήσει.

e.g. Will you be using your PC tomorrow? I need it to send important emails.

Future Perfect Simple

(ΘΑ ΕΧΩ ΠΑΙΞΕΙ)

ΣΧΗΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΣ: WILL + HAVE + VERB – ED / PAST PARTICIPLE (3η στήλη)

AFFIRMATIVE: Ι/Ηe/They will have played/done.

INTERROGATIVE: Will I/he/they have played/done?

NEGATIVE: I/He/They will not/won't have played/done.

ΧΡΗΣΕΙΣ:

1. Για μια πράξη η οποία θα έχει τελειώσει πριν από μια άλλη πράξη ή πριν από μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική στιγμή στο μέλλον.

e.g. I will have completed the project by Thursday.

e.g. We will have painted the whole house by the end of next month.

Future Perfect Continuous

(ΘΑ ΕΧΩ ΠΟΥ ΠΑΙΖΩ)

ΣΧΗΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΣ: WILL + HAVE BEEN + VERB - ing

AFFIRMATIVE: Ι/Ηe/They will have been playing/doing.

INTERROGATIVE: Will I/he/they have been playing/doing?

NEGATIVE: I/He/They will not/won't have been playing/doing.

ΧΡΗΣΕΙΣ:

1. Για να δώσουμε έμφαση στη διάρκεια μιας πράξης που θα έχει ολοκληρωθεί σε μια συγκεκριμένη στιγμή στο μέλλον.

e.g. By Christmas, they will have been living in that house for four years.
